Review: Strawberry Cough

Spread the love

THC: 17.5% | Treatment: Anxiety, PTSD, Chronic Pain | Administration Route: Glass Pipe

Known for its sweet smell of fresh strawberries and an expanding sensation that can make even the most seasoned consumer cough, Strawberry Cough is a potent strain with mysterious genetic origins. The skunky, berry flavors will capture your senses while the cerebral, uplifting effects provide an aura of euphoria that is sure to leave a smile on your face. Strawberry Cough is a great solution in times of elevated stress.

Upon opening this strain, I discovered quickly that it has probably the most pungent smell out of any other strain I’ve had in Arkansas. Beautiful flowers full of red hairs and crystals, I was very impressed. The flowers were nice and dense and came in larger nuggets than usual. I used a glass pipe to administer this medicine and it had a wonderfully sweet taste, a definite hint of strawberry. It also leaves you with a pleasant sweet taste in your mouth after. The effects took about 5 minutes to completely set in and its definitely a strain that you can function on and work. S.C. handled my anxiety well but the effects were quite “heady”, meaning this strain has a tendency to get you in your head, if that is something you struggle with, this may not be the strain for you. It was definitely one of the stronger strains I’ve tried. I personally would recommend this strain, but if its a bit pricey for you, there are definitely other cheaper strains that will still give you the relief you need.

  1. Is it a Indica or a Sativa? I have not had very good experiences with sativas & because of that, I’ve only tried a couple of strains. I try to stick with indica or hybrid, but I want to try again with a top shelf strain. Would you suggest this one or a different one. I use it mostly for pain. I have fybro & arthritis. Thank you.

    • Kris, this strain is sativa dominant with an 80:20 sativa/indica ratio. If you don’t do well with Sativa, I would suggest the AK-47 strain for pain or the Gorilla Glue x White Widow. I hope that helps!

    • I heard Ecto Cooler for Fybro is great.
