THC: 24% CBD: .13% Brand: Natural State Medicinals Route Administered: Smoke Instrument: Glass Pipe Purchased At: ReLeaf
I could not really find any background information about the history of this strain.
I was pretty excited to see Mandarin Temple at the dispensary yesterday, especially after seeing its 24% thc score. I decided to try this strain out as a morning treatment for ongoing anxiety and ongoing pain. The smell of this flower is amazing, I could literally smell it all day. The flowers were also very beautiful, very even in crystals and red hairs. Upon smoking it, the effects were almost instant, and it was extremely pleasant for pain and anxiety. It is hard to find a “morning” strain sometimes that will get you through some hours without having to smoke again, but this is a great strain for that. Of course, being a tier 1 strain, the price is set at $60 an eighth, which I believe is just too high in general for any medicinal strain, but that is just what us patients are dealing with currently in Arkansas.
For being so high in THC, I expected it to be quite harsh, but in fact it wasn’t too bad. Yes I did do some coughing, but it didn’t rank anywhere near another favorite of mine, strawberry cough, when it comes to harshness.
I would definitely recommend this strain and if you are on a budget, I would suggest Mandarin Cookies as a secondary to this guy for the same treatment of anxiety and pain… similar effects, but currently on a lower tier for pricing.
I hope you enjoyed this review and you are having a great Arkansas weekend!
