Marmalate grown by Osage Creek. It’s a 70% Indica dominate cross of Critical Mass x Lavender. I picked this 2 nugget 8th from Green Springs Medicinal. Boy, is it pretty! For looks, the first 10 out of 10 ever from me! Beautifully frosted with hairs everywhere! Appears to be hand trimmed.
The scent is sour, musty but sweet fruit melody that reminds me of the jungle juice boxes of my childhood, rating 9 out of 10. I smoked this half gram dose wrapped in an unbleached paper. The taste is distinct notes of berry and hints of skunk come thru as well. The taste rates 8 out of 10. The cure on this sample is awesome. It rebounds from the squeeze test and burns to a white ash. No throat irritation in paper or glass. I rate it 9 out of 10. I think I need to know more about the curing process before giving out a perfect 10, but I considered it.
The effect of this strain was like a sedative, calming the spasms in my back and also the things bouncing around in my mind. I also feel a reduction in inflammation from the arthritis in my hands comparing to before I medicated. The effect rates 8 out of 10. My setting before might have something to do with the head high that was missing as I was aggravated before medicating, but it did calm my nerves. I picked this beauty up deli style from the passionate folks at Green Springs. Overall it rates 8.8 out of 10 in my “High Opinion.”
