Slurricane is a 60% Indica dominate cross of Do-Si-Dos and Purple Punch. This is the last strain of the first harvest from Native Green Farms that I’m reviewing. I’m extremely thankful for access to buy the same day that they hit the shelves so AMCO could give its “High Opinion.” These buds are pretty and are deserving of being called a flower! They have wide spread frost of tricombs under light and plenty amber and orange hairs. The look rates 8 out of 10. The packaging makes it hard to smell the sample because you can smell the plastic as well.
After taking the bud out of the package, I broke the it in half and an aroma of earthy pine smell came to my nose. It does lack the pungentness that would come from a tenured top shelf strain. Because of this, the smell rates as 7 out of 10. I’m rating the cure as 8 out of 10. The nugs aren’t too dry as I have found in many samples from Arkansas. The density of the nugs is impressive, especially for a first crop. I’ve smoked this sample in an unbleached paper and rate The taste as 8 out of 10. The terps listed of this sample are Pinenene 0.56%, B-Myrcene 0.42%, Linalool 0.19%, and B-Caryophyllene 0.14%. The Pinenene comes in strong and there is a slight fuel taste on the exhale. The skunk is subtle and I cannot taste the clove from the B-Caryophyelle at all.
The body numbing effect is present with this sample but is mild with the half gram dose. The muscles are relaxed and the mental euphoria quickly set in but faded fast when focusing on writing this review. I give the effect 8 out of 10 because it medicated me, but wasn’t long lasting. Overall it comes to 7.6 out of 10. I see the grower improving the strength of the smell over time. I’ll keep a look out in the future for this strain and the other 3 from Native Green Farms. I noticed that could have chosen much easier strains that would yield better crops, but are striving to grow ones that will treat patients across the symptom spectrum. AMCO is looking forward to more in house grow reviews from Native Green Wellness
