Desconocida Kush aka Unknown Kush gets its genetics from a popular California Sativa, Bay 11 crossed with a secret Indica originally by Delicious Seeds to create a 50/50 hybrid. Its known for its number of pistil and tricomb coverage, even on the stems and branches often giving it a silver hue. Its known to have great yield, up to 500 grams per plant.
Amco’s High Opinion
The look rates 4 out of 10 sadly. The eighth of a gram sample was poured out on to a paper when Mrs oo7 said, “Is that all stems?” from sitting about 6 foot away. Out of three and a half grams, only one 0.8 gram bud was trimmed correctly. The smell rates 7 out of 10. Grapefruit like citrus and skunk come through loud and clear. The Limonene and Myrecene terps should make this a flavorful experience. The taste rates 9 out of 10. The dry hit has a turpentine twang. I fired up and the same taste is lighter but definitely still present. I also found it to taste sour and have a wet earthiness. Very enjoyable! The cure rates 6 out of 10 simply because of the cord of wood and leaves that came with it. The actual smokable material was cured well. I would retrain the person who trimmed this. There is no chlorophyll issue with the cure.
The effect rates 8 out of 10. It’s hitting me in a very Indica way. I do feel a mental Sativa high but there is also body high where my muscle pain is lessened. I’m normally not a fan of 50/50 hybrids but this is nice. Overall this rates 6.8 almost all due to the trim job. I look forward to giving Osage another shot with this strain on a future harvest. This quality of trim should not have left the cultivator or the dispensery. Green Springs Medicinal allows you to choose your buds. I usually dont pick bud for bud because I don’t want to have an influenced review. I will keep a closer eye and I’m sure Dragon will also as I have informed him of the issue. This was a nice strain but I suggest everyone watch the trim when purchasing.
