Black Jack grown by Natural State Medicinal purchased from Green Springs Medicinal. Where it is business as usual despite the pandemic. Black Jack is a 70% Indica dominate cross of Black Domina and Jack Herer. There is a different strain called BlackJack with no space. I believe this strain is the older of the two.
Amco’s “High Opinion”
The look of this sample rates 8.5 out of 10. It has a large pretty nugg and a few small pieces in this eighth. It is a muted green color with silvery tricombs covering it and amber colored pistils reaching out from thr flower. The unique smell rates 9 out of 10. You may think I’m crazy but it smells like cherry cola. Others, (my hot editor) disagree. I’m detecting the peppery notes of B-Caryophyllene, muskiness of Mercene and possibly the camphor like smell of Borneal.
I smoked this half gram dose from a clean glass bowl in my Ooze Bowser pipe. The taste rates 7 out of 10. I find it has bold cedar notes and subtle fruit flavors. The exhale has a pine and mint finish. The cure rates 10 out of 10! The big nuggets is cured to perfection. When squeezed it immediately came back to its original shape. I found it to have no throat burn of clorophil.
The effect rates 8 out of 10. I didn’t get much of a head high but it did help greatly with my nerve pain. It quickly relaxed my muscles and gave me the typical Indica “In da couch” feeling. Overall Black Jack gets an 8.5 out of 10. The quality of flower is improving in Arkansas in my high opinion. Also shout out to Dragon and Green Springs staff for their part in keeping patients safe during this time. They had the showroom laid out to enforce social distancing between fellow patients and employees. The only issue I noticed was in the foyer were a fan blew germs around. There were 10 patients in there at once that I felt we were slightly closer than the recommended distance. I did feel safe because they had an employee checking temperatures upon entry and the chairs strategically placed.
