Chiesel is a 60/40 Sativa dominate farmed by Natural State Medicinal and purchased at Green Springs Medicinal. It is a cross of NYC Diesel and Big Buddah Cheese. I been looking forward to this one .
The look of this rates 9 out of 10. It has excellent jar appeal and this 1/8 ounce sample is mostly one beautiful bud! I have included a photo and video because I was so impressed. It is a uniform green color with amber and brown pistils and covered in frosty tricombs galore! This sample rates 6 out of 10 for the smell. Chiesel is known for its stretch like a fine cheese. The fuel smell is the strongest scent when I put my nose in the jar. As the grower manipulates this strain the smell of cheese or stinking feet should come forward and remind you of the smell of Gouda cheese. This received a lower rating because of the lack of the cheese scent.
The taste of this sample rates 8 out of 10. I tested the dry hit by pulling air thru an unlit half gram wrapped in a long slender OCB 100mm Premium. I found the sour diesel dominates anything else before firing it up. With a flick of my Bic the cheesy sour taste from the parent strains dance on my tongue. Its perfectly cured, getting a rating of 10 out of 10. The bud returned to its original shape when squeezed showing its excellent humidity level. After taking a hit from the joint, I take a cough break and the fire goes out. Just how I like it! The guy and gals at NSM have the cure in a headlock eighth this one.
The effect rates 7 out of 10. It hit me euphorically just as a sativa should. 30 minutes after medicating, I’m still high, but its mostly in my eyes and my mood is elevated. The body effect is lacking the numbing I need personally. Overall that gives Chiesel an 8.2 out of 10. I look forward to the next crop of flower. Its not the pain killer I need but it’s a great mood stabilizer and mood lifting stress buster.
