KK29 aka Khalifa Kush 29 was grown by Osage Creek Cultivation and picked up at Green Springs Medicinal. Khalifa Kush is thought to be a phenotype of OG Kush. It’s name name comes from rap artist Wiz Khalifa who made sure that the genetics remain a secret. It’s listed as an 80% Sativa. Legend has it, Wiz Khalifa only has access to the best phenotype of this strain.
Amco’s High Opinion
The look of this flower rates 9 out of 10. This sample is an 1/8 ounce that was only one bud that was thick and dense in structure with an elongated shape. Its the color of a blue spruce with purple splotches, golden pistils and silver tricombs, almost like a psychedelic Christmas tree. I found there are less pistils in this strain than most others. The smell rates 6 out of 10. I found notes of grapefruit, sweet berry fruit and a muskiness that is not at all pungent. It’s not bad, just nothing special. The cure rates 9 out of 10. The tricombs are clouded as best I can tell. It quickly rebounds when I lightly gave it a squeeze.
The taste rates out 7 of 10. The dry hit on this half gram dose wrapped in an unbleached OCB Virgin paper with no flame has a strong sourness! I spark it up and the earthiness and sour notes meld together. There pine notes are noticeable but less than the OG phenotype. It’s a pleasant taste but not as impressive as I expected. The effect rates 7 out of 10. This was a total mental vacation! It’s all cerebral with very little body effect. I would suggest it be used to treat depression and other non-physical pain issues. I didn’t have the heart racing effect or paranoia that sometimes come with sativa dominates. This might be a good tool to battle anxiety in small doses. I think if I were only treating my PTSD and not combined with pain, it would have scored higher. Overall, in Amco’s High Opinion, there is room for improvement and it’s pretty impressive at this point! It averages 7.6 out of 10. It only helps with my pain levels by distracting but hopefully this will help other find things it would help them with.
