~ This strain gets its genetics from Banana Kush x Miracle Alien Cookies, making it a 70% Indica dominate. The common dominate terpenes are Myrcene, Caryophyllene and Limonene.
~ The look rates 8 out of 10. These are very dense small buds with tightly wound tricombs and tawny colored pistils. Purple veins show in magnification, but to the naked eye its an asparagus green color.
~ The smell rates 6 out of 10. My nose finds all the peppery notes of the Caryophyllene. After concentrating I was able to catch a hint of fuel aroma. It’s not bad, just nothing remarkable.
~ The cure rates 7 out of 10. I found the tricombs in this sample to be some what clear but mostly clouded. Under magnification, I found a few that were amber colored. The issue I found that it had a lack of moisture causing the tricombs to be visibly broken off of the flower. The buds were very compact but failed the squeeze test.
~ The taste rates 9 out of 10. The flavors of the Caryophyllene, Limonene and Myrcene are all showing up for the party. I’m a fan, but I don’t taste a flavor I would consider banana. Either way, it’s something I will purchase again!
~ The effect rates 8 out of 10. I’m getting a euphoria that uplifted my mood and calmed the anxiety caused by life. It has a body effect that lowered my pain level enough to loosen my back brace. It is very nicely balanced.
~ Overall Banana Magic rates 7.4 out of 10. Its a little dry but worth the purchase. Use a Boveda moisture pack or whatever you like to retain moisture because the taste and effect is definitely worth it.
