I picked up an 8th of this strain from Fiddler’s Green. It was made up of 5 buds ranging from small marble size to around 1 inch in diameter. This sample was cultivated and NSM. it tested at 17.51% THC and 0% CBD. No date on harvest or test. The look of this sample wasn’t all too impressive. The color ranged from an olive to a dark green. Trichome production wasn’t like that which the strain is known for didn’t have the “white” look at all.i give it a 6 out of 10 on the looks. I smoked about a half gram bowl of this sample out of a clean glass spoon type bowl.
The taste was average at best. Didn’t have any real distinctive flavor, the only flavor I really picked up on was probably limonene but even that wasn’t to strong. So again i give it 6 out of 10 on the flavor. The smell as well wasn’t very strong but actually had a more mint type smell than anything but again was very pungent at all. Its gonna get another 6 from me on the smell as well. I was hoping for the effect provided by NSM on the description but didn’t get that at all really.
After smoking about a half gram i did get a nice burst of energy i actually went out and got some yard work done but i never got any of the body affect that i was hoping for in the description. The cerebral effect was decent i guess it lightened my mood an bit. So maybe good if you need a shot of energy to get some things done or a bit of a mood enhancement. But i got no body effect or pain relief at all.
Im gonna give the effect a 7. I think maybe the cure on this strain was the overall problem with the quality. The nugs where nice and tight but again the flavor and smell weren’t there as expected from such a legendary strain.i did the squeeze test and the nug didn’t bounce back very much at all. I was really excited to sample this strain more than any I’ve had to date and was fairly disappointed. Will give it another try down the road though and hopefully they do a little better job on the cure.
