AMCO’s First Experience with High Bank, Pine Bluff’s Premier Dispensary

How to get there

As many of you know, Pine Bluff is my old stomping grounds, so I had no issues finding High Bank, located at 525 Mallard Loop. If you are unfamiliar with the area, from I-530, take exit 43 for Olive Street. You will then take a left at the light at the end of the exit ramp and proceed onto South Olive. You’ll find Mallard Loop on the left side of the street, across from Wal-Mart, tucked behind a small strip mall.

First Impression

I arrived to find a large gray brick fronted building large enough to hold several businesses. I’m excited to see what might move in next door! I walked in as soon as they opened and the first thing I noticed is that the building doors are all tall and distinguished looking. After entering, I find a comfortable seat to wait for my turn to be checked in.

Service with a Smile

While waiting I was offered refreshments from a snack station nearby. Within just a few minutes I was called up to a counter, very much like a bank, where I gave an employee my Medical Marijuana Card and Identification and the filled out a quick questionnaire. A security guard then opens another tall eloquent interior door to my right ushering me into the show room.

The motif, especially in the showroom is very upscale. A lot of thought and detail was put into making the interior the classiest place I’ve been in Pine Bluff in a very long time. I didn’t have long to observe before another employee a gift from the grand opening. There was a white board with prices listed by the gram. If you purchased by the gram the product came in white zippered Mylar packs. However there are also cultivation packed or High Bank packed jars for eighth ounces or larger. My bud tender, Ashley grabbed exactly what I wanted. Krystal rang me up and packaged my purchases into a white bag.

And Then

Then I was ushered thru a different tall sophisticated door back into the front waiting area. Again, I was offered a snack to go then ushered back outside to the well lit ADA compliant parking lot to my car parked just feet away from the door. I loved the treatment I was given and noticed that every one of the doors were opened for me either by security or a bud tender, and there was always someone nearby to take care of any need I might have had.

Opening Day special

For the grand opening in addition to the gift of a shirt or hat of your choice they offered everyone 10% off everything in store! Most products were packaged and displayed like their sister store, Suite 443, but the color scheme and logos are a little different. The High Bank logo is reminiscent of a Fortune 500 company or professional sports team.

In the Neighborhood

You will find just about anything you might need from shopping. Dining or getting fuel within a couple blocks from the High Bank location. I would have never imagined the classiest dispensary I have ever seen would be in my home town of Pine Bluff. I’m impressed with the small things like the lighting and extra cameras. The pricing is not the lowest I’ve seen but it was reasonable.

Overall I had an wonderful first experience at High Bank. I look forward to future trips as my life takes me to pine bluff more than any of the other towns that have dispensaries. I found their hours of operation listed on Weedmaps as Monday- Saturday 10 am- 8 pm and Sunday 10 am- 6 pm. You can contact them thru their website,, down load their app or give them a call at 870-568-0420. This location accepts debit cards and has an ATM if you prefer not to carry cash. I’m glad to see this dispensary opening as the more that opens better serves the patient. Be sure to stop by High Bank and make a withdrawal soon!

About AMCO_patient_oo7

Little Back ground on my self ,i am a dyslexic medical cannabis patient that has fought threw life for more then 20 years in pain after a string of botched spine surgery .I have been prescribed just about every thing you can think of that is for controlling pain or that the drs thought may have a side effect to help control a symptom caused by 4 failed operations of the spine from Therasic 10 to the Sacrum 1 ,(bout half my spine) that has left me unable to do much of anything sence the failed fusion threw out Lumbar region . I have broken implementation in my spine , im non surgical at the moment tho i need two operations or combo surgery sometimes called , alfit and tlift .surgery on the front of the spine threw my gut and then replacement of instrumentation from the back side the spine as well.So to say i have complex intractable pain is a understatement. From bull toothache type pain radiation form the bones and screws to the nerve pain that shoots from my waist to different location in the rump leg and foot. I have hypersensitivity of the trunk from center line of my back above the spine to midline under my arm. This area of CRPs (complex regional pain syndrome) effects my rear thigh and saddle area at times.I been on a cane most my life and that ruined a shoulder and my ankle on the same side is damaged goods as well. Enough about what hurts for now and lets get into why im exspaling what symptoms i live with and have for over half my life. Pain Management in Arkansas , wow is it a labyrinth at best . I spent so long on opioid care that i was a opioid patient before the term pain management even existed i think. From Fyntinle to tramadol i have had it all one time or another. today im on 240 MME (morphine medical equivalent) less Medications then this time last year yet my condition is deteriorated and continues to daily. I found my self being told to consider implants of computers to shock my spinal cord or pumps to implant in my spine in order to continue to receive opioids control of a life debilitating immobilizing pain that is ever day life for a person whom spine has been cut in half and screwed back together.Over the years i have had to allow my spine to be injected my nerves to be burnt all these procedures that didnt work but had to consent to or not receive you relief for pain.Well the state of arkansas decided that patients could use medical cannabis for a list of symptoms and i am the lucky guy to have more then a couple of those. I hope to answer questions by direct message on the topic of medical use , as best to what my experiences are for all the people of arkasnas whom are on this path cannabis and natural medican s . Many loosing opioid care left no where to turn but to cannabis. I will tell you here from time to time what canna products have helped and have not helped me with my symptoms and maybe it will help educate the masses
