~ This sample was picked up at High Bank in Pine Bluff when my path led me in that direction. This new strain is a cross of Do-si-do F2 #42 and Louis XIII. Making it a hybrid strain. that should be useful for a variety of symptoms.
~ The look rates 9 out of 10. This sample of dense flower fills the bottom and half of the depth of the jar. It has a nice mix of light green and yellow green broken up by blond colored pistils and a plethora of tricombs.
~ The smell rates 7 out of 10. The scent on this sample, harvested on 10/1/2020, is not that pungent. It has a sweet smell that is reminiscent of the Dosido cookie with some chocolate notes. I’m detecting some spice notes that I would guess is Humulene. Sadly there isn’t a readable QR for the terp content.
~ The cure rates 9 out of 10. The squeeze test is passed with flying colors. Under magnification the tricomb heads seem to be mostly present. I wouldn’t say they are all fully opaque but I would guess that 90% are. About a quarter of these are starting to turn amber. There is a 33 day cure on this strain.
~ The taste rates 9 out of 10. I’ll be sampling this Sun King OG in the Ooze Steamboat with a glass bowl. The green hit is mostly berry notes with some spicy hints of Humulene. Without water filtration, Myrcene and Limonene are present. It tastes very different depending on your smoking method.
~ The effect rates 6 out of 10. After I’ve smoked two bowls and a little time has passed, honestly it has my least favorite effect from a Delta brand product so far. It has a Sativa type buzz that is all head high with very little body pain relief. With 22.4% THC it will get you high but with this its not the type of high I need.
Overall Amco High Opinion
~ Overall this gets an AMCO High Opinion of 8 for Delta’s Sun King OG. This would be a great anti-depressant relief just not a pain reliever.
